People all over the globe will join Greta Thunberg and Friday’s for the Future by walking out of their schools, workplaces and homes to join the climate kids marching in the streets. Students are demanding climate justice and emergency-scale action in response to the climate crisis, and they and we are asking you --all of us -- to respond to their call for adults and all people to stand up with them. Join the Corvallis youth as they take action and create hope for their future. Amplify their voices by joining them for all or any part of the Strike and March:
12:15 pm: Arrive at Corvallis High School, Buchanan Street with your sign or use one of ours.
12:45 pm: Move to 16th St. sidewalk by football field to hear what the students have to say.
1:15 pm: March up 16th through 11th Streets, meet on Monroe and continue to City Hall.
2:00 pm: Students will stage a “Do or Die-In” at City Hall, give speeches, and hopefully speak with City Mayor & Councilors.
2:45 pm: Disperse.
No generation can do this on their own! Let’s display our unity and commitment together for a better, kinder, more sustainable future.
